I recently bought minecraft from minecraft.net and I was wondering what website is the best place to get mods like having pokemon mod for mincraft, I saw a video on that on youtube and I want to get that mod plus many other mods and also getting texture packs.

It has just about every mod there, you just have to find what your looking for, there’s also a texture packs section, just need to look around a little to find it on the forum index.

On the minecraft topic there is a link saying
Client: Download here.
1.You click that and it will start downloading the .jar file.
2.Next click the start button and click run.
3.Type in %appdata% then you click on the .minecraft file.
4.After that, open the bin file. Next, you will delete the .jar titled “minecraft”
5. you’ll replace it with the file you just downloaded. If it is not already named minecraft.jar you’ll need to change it to that. Have fun!

A while ago i tried to mod my minecraft and did not backup the files. Which meant i screwed minecraft up completely and could not play minecraft.
So i decided that i would have a break from minecraft roughly 4 weeks and decided to install it again which meant updating my older backups of minecraft but when i updated i found that their was a newer version of mine craft i did not know about cause my world not to be compatible with the latest update.

You could play around with Minecraftforfree.com I’m not sure about modding it but it the beta version. Not too sure about legal terms either

SkyGrid is just above the void, so the distance is streaked with white, and it really does look like a grid. it adds some intense and trippy effects if you fall. making failing this map, twice as enjoyable.

This map is a challenging survival map for Minecraft in the style of SkyBlock. It’s formed out of a grid of random environmental blocks, with a grid-length of 4 meters. There are no rules, make whatever goals you want. Try and find the random chests and spawner’s placed throughout the map!
